Mitt Romney caught lying again! His campaign is called inauthentic and pandering!

NY Times:
But as has often been the case with Mr. Romney, parts of his change mantra have rung inauthentic to some, engendering fresh accusations of pandering and political misspeak from critics and rivals.
“There’s something about Mitt Romney that makes people disinclined to cut him a lot of slack,” said Dan Schnur, a Republican strategist who is not affiliated with any campaign. “Every candidate for every office pushes the envelope in their message. You don’t win a lot of elections with subtlety, but Romney seems to get called on it more frequently.” ......................

“I don’t have lobbyists running my campaign,” Mr. Romney said at a news conference in Columbia, S.C., an apparent reference to Mr. McCain, whose campaign manager, Rick Davis, was a lobbyist.
Mr. Romney was on the verge of extending his argument when Mr. Johnson shouted out: “That’s not true, governor. That is not true.” He cited Ronald C. Kaufman, an unpaid senior adviser to the campaign and a Washington lobbyist.
Mr. Romney argued that Mr. Kaufman did not even sit in on “senior strategy meetings,” even though Mr. Kaufman, a close friend, is a regular at the campaign’s Boston headquarters and has been a regular presence at Mr. Romney’s side over the past few weeks.
Other registered lobbyists who have played a significant role in his campaign include Warren Tompkins, Mr. Romney’s South Carolina consultant; Barbara Comstock, a senior adviser; and Vin Weber, Mr. Romney’s policy chairman.
Mr. Romney also received almost $200,000 in donations from federally registered lobbyists through the third quarter of last year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, second among Republican candidates to Mr. McCain, who took in just over $300,000.
